As planned, the first phase of HANA, SAP Business One Analytics on HANA 1.0 has been released on 27th December 2012. Following is the related product version diagram of this most stirring product of the year from SAP.
The product has just freshly landed up which is very clear from the above figure. It has no predecessor and successor and it runs on the latest version of SAP Business One, i.e. 8.82. Its official name is “SAP Business One, analytics powered by SAP HANA 1.0”. The application server supports both the Windows Servers 2008 and 2012, and the client application supports both Win 7 and Win 8. But the database supports only Linux platform and all the server components must be running on SAP HANA certified machines / hardware.
Early this year it was released on 29th February 2012, and recently a few days back on 20th December 2012 it has been put on General Available (GA). End of mainstream maintenance of this product has been scheduled on 30th June 2015.
Another interesting fact about SAP HANA is that it is SAP’s own database platform for the first time ever. Presently SAP HANA DATABASE 1.00 has been introduced on LINUX SUSE SLES11/X86_64 64BIT platform.
