Google launches Google e-commerce Channel on YouTube

Hi friends, here comes the E-commerce play in YouTube.Now E-commerce merchants have the golden chance to business online through this Google E-commerce Channel.

Google- the Internet Giant is becoming very popular on the eCommerce domain as it stretches its offerings to merchants who want to sell online. ‘Google Checkout’ one of the most popular eCommerce checkout process available on eCommerce domain.

But often merchants and general people have many queries related to Google eCommerce. That’s why Google launches a new channel on the most popular social media site YouTube. The channel called ‘Google E Commerce Channel.

1. Understanding Chargebacks: – Web customer can anytime put up chargebacks on the orders posted by him/her in the eCommerce website. For this chargeback web customer will contact his/her credit card issuing bank. Bank will then notify Google and Merchant. Google then forward an email to the merchant and stop debiting merchant account.
2. Sales Tax Setup: – This video describes how sales taxes can be set in Google Checkout. Sales Taxes can be set from shopping cart itself. As per requirement admin can charge no sales tax, sales tax as per web customer location (admin has to enter the tax rates manually), or the newest feature of Google Checkout sales tax setup automatically as per Tax Rate database (admin just have to select the locations, tax rates will automatically be calculated as per tax rate database value).
3. Shipping Setup Tool: – This video describes how to set shipping methods and rates in Google Checkout. Previously merchants have to enter shipping methods and rates through XML file. But now merchants have the ability to set up shipping methods. There are three kinds of shipping methods available Flat Rate (merchants can charge it by flat amount or by percentage of cart price), Custom Table (merchants can charge it by creating custom shipping options based on cart price, no. of items and total weight) and Choose a carrier (merchants can set up several carrier shipping gateway options like ‘Fed-Ex’, ‘UPS’, etc.)
