Meet Magento Brazil 2012 hosted by Netresearch in São Paulo. On November 8th, over 200 attendees came together both business and technology background and the event was opened by an energetic speech from Yoav Kutner, who did an overview of, “Magento: A Journey Down the Open Road,” Yoav gave an overview about the development of Magento from the beginning and spoke about the challenges of founding a business. This session was followed by Sergey Shymko, a Magento core developer, who gave an update on Magento 2 development. There were a total of 14 sessions that covered a wide range of topics, like payment, social media, Magento extensions, development and online persuasion. From Cart2Quote Remco de Jong & Sander Schoneville delivered a presentation on Magento as a platform for B2B webshop that day.
The attendees had the opportunity to network throughout event during the session break and highlight of the evening was a fantastic After-Show-Party in Venue 166 after the conference wrapped up.
We can see an exciting future with a lot of opportunities in the eCommerce business and the upcoming version Magento 2.
