InSync enjoys a long-time association with Airtel Run for Education. The team’s co-operation has added fervor to the season’s half marathon yet again, where InSync’s CEO and Founder Mr. Atul Gupta was the Race Director like that of the last year. Since 2014, Airtel Run for Education has started its journey, establishing the idea ‘Freedom through Education’. As a fitness enthusiast, our CEO’s perpetual inspiration towards participation in these half marathons has inspired many of us.  Over the years, the city’s only fund-raising half marathon by Round Table India has been full-fledged with participants across the city and Bengal. Even this year, the participation touched over 8000 marathoners among which InSync’s ardor has geared up for the ultimate race.

This is not only an end to this event as InSync has beaten all records by repeating in the winning category again when it held up the trophy of the season’s first race in the category of ‘The Most Vibrant Corporate Award’. The Fifth edition of Airtel Run for Education 2018 has selected the most deserving team of InSync, who had participated for the categories in 5k, 10k and 21k, that kick-started from City Centre I, Salt Lake at 7.45 am, 6 am and 5.15am respectively.

The event started with the blowing of a conch shell (shankh) that gave a nice traditional touch to the commencement of the half-marathon. Records have already been made this year in terms of getting the highest number of registered runners ever in this (Half Marathon, 21km) running category. All the runs were flagged off by Mr. Sameer Anjaria, CEO, Bharti Airtel Ltd. West Bengal and Odisha along with celeb Rhea Chakraborty and dignitaries from Round Table India. The energy in the air was palpable and amplified by the whopping Zumba routine choreographed by experts from the Reebok Running Squad. This edition won an extra inning for introducing the breath-taking scenic route around the recently announced Bengal Silicon IT Hub, amidst the greens and the lanes that wind up to the iconic Biswa Bangla Gate or the Kolkata Gate, relevant for a picture-perfect backdrop. Moreover, the timed 5k fun run, sublime T-shirts and the spectacular coloured medals was a fillip to the young marathoners.
