In todays Web design world adopting a new terminology. Like me many of Web designers heard the new term interaction design, which use to refer to those doing interface design.
As I came to know this term and that time I was wondering what is the basic difference between them? At least how they are defined in this Web World?
These both terms describe designers who define how the user will see and interact with the application or web site.
User interface designer creates the visual design for the UI of an application or web site, where an Interaction designer takes care the behavior of the users to using the application or website.
Honestly I have seen there is not much difference at the level of Practice.
Interaction Design is an evolution form Interface Design
