Diwali is the festival of lights and vibrancies for us Indians and an exceptionally hyped time of the year when we millennials go gaga over the latest trends and looks. Being entitled as the ‘Most Vibrant Corporate’ of Kolkata and the amazingly jolly hearts that we, the InSync Family is, how can we let Diwali go with just the traditional celebration norms!!
For us, it gotta be the cool way or no way!
So this time in InSync, Diwali comes the Bollywood way! XP
Starting from Dada Saheb Phalke’s silent feature film ‘Raja Harishchandra’ in 1913 to the evergreen Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and the current box office blockbuster War, Bollywood has come a long way.
Bollywood characters have not only influenced how we Indians have adapted to changes in lifestyle but also changed our perspective towards life and society at various junctures of time. Be it Anand and Babu Moshai, Sholay’s Jai and Veeru, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’s Rahul, Anjali and Tina, Koi Mil Gaya’s Rohit, Baaji Rao, and Mastaani or Gully Boy’s Murad and Safina (the list is never-ending) they are really close to our hearts!!!
InSync superheroes proved their might once again by coming to the Diwali celebrations in office, dressed up as their favorite Bollywood characters and all of that with so much zest! From the early ’70s to the latest Bollywood personalities, the office was abuzz with music, drama, and joy!
We met the ravishing Zeenat Aman at one step and the power-packed Kabir Singh (Kabir Singh) at another. Geet (Jab We Met) sprinkled her glitters at one corner and Poo (Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham) showed off her beauty! Himesh Reshamiya with his hit music Oh Suroor, didn’t miss out too.
We had Rekha sitting at her office with all that royalty while Geeta (Sita aur Geeta) moved across the rooms with smiles galore! The celebrations even witnessed the charismatic Raj Aryan (Mohabbatein) playing that beautiful violin of his it just made our day! Who said Chulbul Pandey (Dabang) was out on duty? He was right here with his swag on point.
You thought Sid (Wake Up Sid) was lazy? Maybe, but he didn’t take the chance of missing Insync’s Diwali festivities. To add a cherry on the top, cute Shanaya (Student Of The Year)came all dressed with her pep all up!
With many more super cool members of InSync Family portraying the hit Bollywood characters, the Bollywood-themed Diwali celebration at our office was one couldn’t afford to miss.
With lots of love and best wishes for all, InSync wishes you a Happy Diwali!
